The Minam River Lodge is a special Cove neighbor. It is one of very few facilities in the country offering accommodations in the midst of a national wilderness. The only access is by hiking, horseback, or small plane. The vast majority of guests arrive at the lodge by trail via Moss Springs.
Located near the beautiful Minam River and historic Red’s Horse Ranch (now a national forest service station), the facility consists of a main lodge with restaurant, sleeping dormer and showers; nine cabins; wall tents and teepees; horse corrals; and barn. The cabins all have wood stoves, private bathrooms, and hot showers. Meals, bed linens, and towels are provided to overnight guests. The Minam River Lodge also has riding horses for guests, and management can arrange set-up camps and pack trips into other areas of the wilderness, as well as guided trail rides and fishing trips. | ||
