Using a traditional coal-fired forge Bob Gilmore will demonstrate the techniques and tools used in traditional blacksmithing. His projects will consist of activities that can be viewed from start to finish by interested observers. Bob has been involved in blacksmithing for 25 years and views his mission as passing on the techniques of old-time blacksmiths to future generations. He also shares his skills in the academic community as a theater and arts staff member of Eastern Oregon University. Bob will be sharing his skills during both the Festival and Fair.
