The Ascension School Counselors work with Festival participants to create simple crafts that appeal to ages young and old. Past years crafts that have been popular are tie dye shirts and the hemp bracelets.
This years Art Festival the Ascension School staff's theme is "'Art for Kids Six Years and Younger". Working with the children young adults will help them to design and color Cherry Festival and Fair artwork. Some of the finished projects may be used in future t-shirt or promotion materials.
