Clean-Up Day is a yearly event for the purpose of improving and enhancing Cove's neighborhoods by keeping our city clean. The success of Clean-Up Day is made possible by volunteers that provide their time and equipment for services. Financial support in the way of donations are appreciated and goes towards covering expenses. Clean-up Day is co-sponsored by the Cove Community Association, the City of Cove, and with the support of Union County and SOLV (a non-profit organizatin that helps communities with cleanup and beautification). In partnership with Clean-up Day is Cove's Clean-up Day Yard Sale which precedes Clean-up Day. Items are donated for the sale with proceeds used for expenses that occur from Clean-up Day. Also on the same day as the Clean-up Day is the Preschool's annual yardsale with proceeds benefiting the preschool. |
